All aboard the train to Mandurah! 

Only a hop, skip and a jump from the Perth CBD hides WA’s largest regional city – Mandurah. It’s so close, you’ll be wondering why you haven’t visited sooner. 

The Mandurah Train Line runs right through Perth from all the way up in the city to all the way down to Mandurah. With a frequent train timetable, it’s never been so easy to escape on a holiday!

Plus – tickets are cheap as chips! Varying from $5 for a 2 Zone fare, to the Family Rider package $10, these prices certainly beat the cost of petrol for a car trip!

Jump on the Mandurah shuttle bus when you arrive at the train station to quickly get to your accommodation and settle in. Your train ticket will get you on a bus trip for free too, what a bonus!

The Giants of Mandurah is a free outdoor exhibition celebrating the extraordinary beauty and importance of protecting our natural world, including Mandurah’s globally significant Ramsar-listed wetlands, unique waterways, bushland and wildlife.

Begin at Mandurah’s Visitor Centre and choose your own adventure on your journey to discovering each hidden Giant. Collect clues along the way to reveal the location of the final Giant, but shhhhh… don’t tell anybody else.

Mandurah is spoiled with plenty of great locations to spot dolphins playing in the estuary and ocean.The beautiful Venetian style canals beside the Mandurah Ocean Marina or the Dawesville Channel Walks both offer a stunning walk as you watch dolphins swim past. Creery Wetlands Reserve Trail

Take a walk on the 3km loop that circles the 29-hectare Creery Wetlands Reserve.Take your binoculars for bird watching (the wetlands are home to 22 species of migratory shorebirds!) and spotting other native wildlife and enjoy the fascinating wonderland hidden in the wetlands.
