Rain, hail or shine–a cruise always offers an exciting experience complemented with beautiful views.

The true stars of the show are Mandurah’s very own Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins, which proudly call these waterways home. Mandurah is home to WA’s largest residential population of Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins. Alcoa Mandurah Art Gallery

Located at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on the backdrop of the picturesque Mandjar Bay, the Alcoa Mandurah Art Gallery offers free exhibitions on display throughout the year. The gallery presents around 10 diverse exhibitions each year featuring contemporary, indigenous, historical, traditional, design and sculptural artworks

Following the theme of art exhibitions, the Contemporary Art Spaces Mandurah (CASM) is another gallery in Mandurah that boasts exciting and unique art pieces. Located within the Mandurah CBD, adjacent to the CASM Workshop Space (63 Ormsby Terrace), CASM supports exhibition development and partnerships with artists, arts organisations and communities by providing low cost rental spaces, a diverse workshop program and information services for artists

CASM provides a platform to assist recent graduates and emerging artists navigate early exhibition experiences. Additionally, the gallery supports established artists presenting a body of work that is new and experimental in relation to their normal practice

Two Muddy Men

When the weather rains, it’s time to get creative! Challenge yourself by getting your hands stuck in mud with a pottery class at Two Muddy Men. Run by instructor Isaac, you’ll be guided by an experienced potter who creates large water sculptures and sculptural homewares. Although you might not be able to make a large water sculpture on your first visit, the instructor will guide you through the class, teaching you how to make simple to intermediate designs

With group workshops, private classes, venco wheels and 3 – 6 week courses–choose a casual class or commit to the complete 6 week course to keep you busy throughout winter. All skills levels are welcome, with the instructor moulding the class to the students’ abilities.

There’s just something about a sip of red wine on a wet and wintery day that feels cosy and relaxing. Kaleidoscope Tours has captured this sensory delight by offering one of Mandurah’s most popular wine tours during the cooler months.

Guests can choose a half or full day winery tour. On the full day tour, guests will visit three wineries with tastings and an included lunch provided by Jarrahdale Tavern, Redcliffe. On the half day tour, guests will visit a few wineries with no lunch included. Regardless of the tour you include, you’re guaranteed an impressive tour as you travel along the scenic route, admiring the beauty of the surrounding vineyards

The 45-minutes ‘Dark Corners’ historic walking tour is an outdoor performance where digital footage will be projected onto several key locations and landmarks while you are listing to captivating stories from Mandurah’s past.

As the dusk fades, the Night-watchman leads you on a journey through history, enchanting you with tales of former residents. From his lantern, shimmering figures emerge, painting pictures on the walls with light, before dissolving into the night.  Dark Corners illuminates the past and brings the long-dead to life.
