Morning Concerts: Stevie & Aretha, King & Queen of Soul – Aviida

The undisputed Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin and music legend Stevie Wonder will be celebrated in a special Morning Concerts event, at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre.

In this must-see performance, AViiDA conjures soulful interpretations of Stevie and Aretha’s most memorable and signature songs, including ‘Natural Woman’, ‘Think’, ‘Respect’, and ‘You Are the Sunshine of My Life’, plus ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’, ‘Lately’, Living for the City’ and ‘Higher Ground’.

In a special one-hour performance, backed by their full live band, audiences will also be taken on a journey of Paula and Clay’s own love story shared through the timeless collection of songs curated for this reimagined edition of their acclaimed show.

Having already debuted and performed at coveted venues and festivals across 2017-2019, including receiving a nomination for Best Musical/Cabaret at Perth Fringe Festival, this show has already won a place in many hearts. After a stellar return in 2022, Paula and Clay were crowned King & Queen of Soul at Perth’s International Cabaret Festival, where the shows second incarnation received rave reviews.
