World Music Concert: Swarasynthesis

The Livelighter World Music 2023 concert series showcases a diversity of high-quality music and dance from around the globe at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre. Enjoy these free Sunday afternoon sojourns featuring some of WA’s top multicultural talent.

SwaraSynthesis is an innovative Indian-Australian group led by Avra Banerjee on sarod, who perform a fusion music genres firmly rooted in Hindustani classical music. The quartet features some of Western Australia’s leading Indian musicians, Tasneemul Galib Amit on vocals, Sivakumar Balakrishnan on tabla, and Shwet Jeshrani on keyboard, Together they create a unique exploration of Indian classical music.
