Want some fun before the fireworks? Head down from 7pm for a special New Year’s Eve outdoor movie screening next to the Eastern Foreshore playground, perfect for families looking to relax before the 9pm display.
Make it a night to remember as you farewell 2025 and welcome 2026 by the water.
New Year’s Eve fireworks best viewing locations:
- Western Foreshore: Enjoy convenient amenities including toilets, food trucks, and activities for kids like the playground and skatepark.
 Henry Sutton Grove: Toilets available. Bring your own food and drinks for a relaxed experience.
- Eastern Foreshore (Southern End): Toilets nearby with plenty of restaurants and cafes just a short walk away.
- Mandjar Square/Boardwalk: A great spot with nearby restaurants and cafes, plus toilets at the Visitors Centre.
- Stingray Point: Toilets on-site with food and drink options within walking distance.
New Year’s Eve Road, Car Park, and Water Closures
To help everyone enjoy the New Year’s Eve celebrations safely, some road, car park, and water closures will be in place. Please plan ahead to avoid any inconvenience.
Road closures:
The following roads will be closed during these times:
Leighton Road East: 12pm – 1am
Leighton Place: 4pm – 1am
Mandurah Terrace (between Pinjarra Road and Peel Street): 6pm – 1am
Cooper Street, Gibson Street, and Tuckey Street (between Sholl Street and Mandurah Terrace): 6pm – 1am
Smart Street Mall – Access Lane: 6pm – 1am
Car park closures
The following car parks will be closed:
War Memorial car park: 12pm – 1am
Mandurah Terrace Parking Precinct (South, Central, and North): 6pm – 1am
Water closures
For the fireworks display, water access will be restricted at these times:
Within 250 metres of the firing point beside the War Memorial: 8.30pm – 9.30pm and 11.30pm – 12.30am
Entrance to Mandurah Canals: 8.30pm – 9.30pm and 11.30pm – 12.30am

ACROD Parking: Additional temporary parking will be available at the Visitors Centre car park off Mandurah Terrace.
Accessible Toilets: Wheelchair-accessible toilets are on the Western Foreshore.
Changing Places facilities, unisex accessible toilets, and standard toilets are available at the Mandurah Visitors Centre and the Eastern Foreshore.
Changing Places: These facilities include an adult change table, ceiling hoist, shower, and accessible toilet. Please note, you will need your own Master Locksmiths Access Key, as loan keys are not available. View more information here.
