Worldwide Paint Out

Join artists from around the globe for the World Wide Paintout in Mandurah, part of the 24th International Plein Air Painters Worldwide Paint Out. This global celebration of outdoor painting sees thousands of artists painting en plein air in beautiful locations around the world – and Mandurah’s stunning foreshore is the perfect backdrop.

Artists of all skill levels and mediums are invited to take part in this relaxed and inspiring free painting event on Saturday 5 September 2026 from 10am to 2pm. Simply bring your paints, sketchbooks, easels or creative materials and capture the beauty of Mandurah’s waterways, boats, wildlife and coastal scenery.

Participants can paint outside the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on Ormsby Terrace or explore the wider Mandurah foreshore, where picturesque estuary views, marina scenes and vibrant waterfront life provide endless artistic inspiration.

After the paintout, artists and visitors are invited to attend the official opening of the Plein Air Down Under Feature Artist Exhibition at 2.30pm, showcasing works by award-winning plein air artists.

Whether you’re a seasoned painter or just starting out, the World Wide Paintout Mandurah offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow creatives, celebrate art in nature, and experience the inspiring landscapes of Mandurah and the Peel region.
