Waroona Visitor Centre has a wide range of tourism information and brochures, with local staff and volunteers on hand to assist with planning day trips and longer stays. The Centre is also home to a gallery filled with quality local art and crafts, gifts, homewares, ornaments, and souvenir lines.
Out the front is Mooriel (aka Waroona Cow), a life-size fibreglass cow whose outfits change every month or so. With a reputation for fun and quirky “cowture”, Mooriel has become quite the mascot and arguably the most photographed cow in the state.
The Waroona Art Trail starts at the Visitor Centre and takes you on a journey to see stunning murals and sculptures, the beautifully carved jarrah bush poles, yarn bombing, a fairy garden, antiques and collectables, and more.
Waroona Visitor Centre is accessible with public toilets and ample parking for vehicles and caravans, and the tourist bay adjacent is perfect for a picnic with gazebos, lush lawns, and shady trees.
