Create your own handcrafted ceramic mug in this fun and creative workshop with Shaka Pottery, perfect for beginners and anyone looking to try something new.

Using a pre-made mug as your canvas, you’ll personalise your piece with a wide range of cutters, stamps and textures inspired by sea life, florals, bees, cowgirls, cacti and coastal designs. Guided by experienced instructors throughout the session, you’ll learn the studio’s signature techniques while bringing your own creative vision to life.

From attaching handles and sculpting decorative elements to slip trailing, texturing and selecting your glaze colours, you’ll experience the complete ceramic decorating process. Once your design is finished, your mug will be professionally glazed and fired, ready to collect in approximately 3–4 weeks.

Whether you’re creating a keepsake for yourself or a personalised gift, this relaxed workshop is a great opportunity to slow down, get creative and learn new pottery skills.
