Enjoy the island rhythms of Tchega, blending Creole folk, sega, maloya, and Afro-pop from Mauritius, Réunion and the Seychelles.

Experience the vibrant sounds of the Indian Ocean islands with Tchega, performing Creole folk music from Mauritius, Réunion, and the Seychelles. Their music is a rich fusion of African, French, Indian, and Asian influences — a true cultural melting pot.

Led by dynamic singer and dancer Carole Katz, Tchega brings a relaxed island vibe, captivating stage presence, and infectious rhythms. Expect a joyful mix of sega, seggae, maloya, Afro-pop, and folk — all with Tchega’s unique twist.

This performance is part of the Livelighter World Music 2025 concert series at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre. Enjoy a free Sunday afternoon journey through global music and dance, showcasing some of Australia’s finest multicultural talent.
