Lovingly described as a “poperetta”, this fresh take brings the classic production into the 21st century, with modernised chorus numbers alongside the beautiful original arias that have made the show a favourite for generations.
This is the version that took Australia by storm when Jon English and Simon Gallagher toured the production, combining Gilbert and Sullivan’s much-loved music and humour with a lively contemporary twist.
