Immerse yourself in the beauty, stories and spirit of the natural world at the Spirit of the Landscape Art Exhibition, a captivating showcase of contemporary landscape painting at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre.

Featuring an exceptional collection of works by renowned Australian and international artists, this free exhibition explores the deep connection between artists, landscapes and communities. Through both plein air paintings created outdoors and studio-based interpretations, visitors are invited to experience the unique character, light, colour and atmosphere of landscapes from across Australia and beyond.

Plein air artists have a profound respect for the land and the stories it holds. Painting directly within the environment allows them to capture fleeting moments, changing light and the essence of a place in real time. The resulting artworks offer powerful reflections on nature, place, people and lived experience.

Presented as part of the lead-up to the acclaimed Plein Air Down Under Outdoor Painting Festival, Spirit of the Landscape celebrates artistic excellence while highlighting the important relationship between creativity and the environment.

This inspiring exhibition is a must-see for art lovers, collectors, visitors and anyone seeking to connect with the landscapes that shape our communities.
