Spring into Arts and Crafts - Glass Fusing

Discover the colourful art of glass fusing in this introductory workshop at Mandurah Arts and Crafts Society.

Learn the basics of glass cutting, design and composition as you transform colourful pieces of glass into your own decorative plate. Designed for beginners, the workshop is a great way to explore a new creative medium while learning foundational techniques from experienced craftspeople.

Session 2: Thursday 17 September 2026, 6pm–9pm
Location: Mandurah Arts and Crafts Society Hall, 4 Tuart Avenue, Mandurah
Tickets: $60 per person

Important to know:

To help our tutors provide the best possible experience for everyone, we kindly ask that participants attending are aware of the following:

• Age Requirements – participants must be 18 years old or over.
• Ability to stand for extended periods – this workshop involves hands-on work at a bench or worktable.
• Good hand and grip strength – cutting, shaping, and handling glass requires some pressure and control.
• Steady hands – precision is important when working with glass and applying fine detail.
• Ability to follow instructions – for safety and best results, it’s essential to work step-by-step with your tutor’s guidance.
• Workshop safety – wearing closed shoes is mandatory; avoid eating and drinking around cut glass; and wash your hands before eating to ensure there are no glass particles on your skin.
