Contemporary Art Spaces Mandurah (CASM) are proud to present the debut solo exhibition of fine art photographer Louise Alexander, Where Thorns Speak.

Originally from the UK and now based in Australia, Alexander brings a distinctive and deeply considered approach to contemporary photography. Drawing on influences from theatre, mythology and literature, her work constructs surreal, psychologically resonant images that blur the boundaries between reality and imagination.

Over recent years, Alexander has exhibited extensively across local, interstate, and international platforms, earning recognition for her intricate, layered practice and compelling visual language. Her work explores transformation, human behaviour and the complexities of feminine identity with both sensitivity and strength.

Where Thorns Speak marks an important milestone in her career — a powerful and assured first solo exhibition that invites audiences into a world that is at once poetic, unsettling and richly symbolic.
