Rockingham Beach Cup and Carnival

Don’t miss Western Australia’s most unique horse racing carnival, plus a massive weekend of entertainment on Rockingham Foreshore, with the must see beach horse racing on the Sunday.
Established in 2016 by the Rotary Club of Palm Beach WA Inc, this two day festival features something for everyone, and is a terrific opportunity to “Rediscover Rockingham”.
The event also features a free carnival in Churchill Park, a range of family-friendly entertainment, live music, popular Fashions on the Foreshore competition, food and artisan markets.
The Rockingham Beach Cup supports the welfare of retired racehorses, therefore, no betting is available, and no whips are used. All funds raised go to charity, benefiting Variety, Alzheimer’s Research Foundation WA and Palm Beach Rotary community projects.
An exclusive ticketed area, the Palm Beach Oasis, is available if you’re looking for prime viewing of the event, or for those boaties looking for a unique view of the action, designated spectator moorings are available.
The surrounding festival is a free event with a viewing of the races on Sunday!
